Hello and Welcome

Looking for the right therapist may feel challenging, especially if you’re already carrying more than you’d like.

You might be wondering whether counselling is right for you – I’d be happy to support you in finding that out.

Are you feeling lonely or lost?
As if you’re not “good enough”?
A stranger to yourself or others?
Or perhaps you want more from yourself and your own life?

You are not alone.

Whether it is an overwhelming recent life event, a troubled past that keeps echoing in the present, or simply you want to know yourself better, I am here to welcome your story, and accompany you on this part of your journey.

Talking through with a professional is an opportunity to explore your struggles, beliefs, or aspirations, and, as a result, finding out what makes you you. When we look into ourselves with curiosity, kindness and openness, we begin to see areas of the self formerly hidden. We can gain a new understanding of how significant relationships and events shaped who we are and also why they did. Knowledge and insight have the power to transform. New patterns of relating to yourself and others can then emerge, which can move you towards a more meaningful and more authentic living.

How I Can Support You

I believe that we all have an innate ability to heal, grow, and adapt, even when facing tough challenges. With the right support, within a safe, nurturing environment, this inner strength can emerge and guide you forward.

Some of your present difficulties might include (this is not an exclusive list):

  • A recent life event (such as separation, loss, or trauma) has left you feeling lost, heartbroken, confused or in despair.
  • You’re at a crossroads in life, entering a new chapter, feeling anxious about the unknown, or unsure which way to go.
  • Your troubled past continues to affect your present, making it difficult to build deep and meaningful relationships.
  • You’re feeling empty, struggling with loss of meaning or lack of purpose and direction in life.
  • Or, simply, you want to explore more of your creative potential.

Whatever you’re experiencing will be unique to you and you don’t have to go through it alone. Taking the first step into therapy can feel like stepping into the unknown. You might have strong or mixed feelings about it – that’s completely normal. I am confident that, with warmth, kindness, and a bit of patience, we can navigate these feelings together.
